On July 29, 2024 FfOR filed an application for an extraordinary appeal pursuant to Rule 10 of the Tennessee Rules of Appellate Procedure. It was accepted by the Court of Appeals of Tennessee at Jackson, and Brooks and the City have been ordered to respond by Aug. 15.
