Lots of good spots for a downtown museum; only 1 Public Promenade

Word on the street was that MLG&W wants to move their technology center out of downtown to a site already wired and outfitted for a modern data center that's closer to the rest of their operations.

Makes sense & it would leave their downtown location at Beale & Main open.

On the lovely new MLK Reflection Park, on the trolley line, in the entertainment district with plenty of parking, hotels, restaurants, and other spots to visit close by - sounds like a perfect location for a new museum! Art goers could leave the museum and walk across Main to the Orpheum Theater and Halloran Center or wander on Main or Beale Street for drinks, food, and Memphis music. Close to FedEx Forum and the National Civil Rights Museum, it sounds especially perfect for tourists.

In every respect MLG&W moving east, the museum located in the heart of the entertainment district, and the Public Promenade open, free, and connected is a win-win for all concerns and the citizens of Memphis.
